2. Important Information
2.1 Proper usage
This device should only be used by specialist or trained personnel. It
is only intended for the preparation of dishes specially developed for
the sisisi. Any other usage is deemed as improper usage. Carogusto
AG assumes no liability for the consequences of improper usage.
Read and follow these instructions before using the device. Keep
these operating instructions with the device and pass them on to the
next user.
The device is designed for a maximum daily output of 80 dishes and
can only be used with inserted filter cartridges.
The device varies according to altitude and is intended for use up to
2000 m.

2.2 For your safety
Read and observe the following important safety instructions care-
fully.
They are intended to prevent danger to life through electrocution:
• Never use a device that is damaged or that has a defective power
cable.
• Ensure that the power cable is never exposed to hot surfaces.
• Ensure that the power cable is not pinched or rubbing against
sharp edges.

• Never let the power cable hang loose. The power cable could be
damaged or cause a trip hazard.
• If the power cable is defective, it should only be replaced by an
authorised technician.
• Never open and repair the device yourself. Do not make any chan-
ges to the device that are not described in these operating instruc-
tions. The device contains live elements. Opening the device poses
a danger to life. Repairs should only be carried out by authorised
service centres using original spare parts and accessories.
• In order to disconnect the device safely and completely from the
mains power, first switch the device off at the mains switch. Then
unplug the power cable from the mains socket.
• The device must be disconnected from the mains power for servi-
cing or for the replacement of components or parts.
• The mixer unit must be left to cool down before being removed.
Burns and scalds may otherwise occur when the mixer unit is
removed.
• Below the preparation unit, the device has two water drainage
hoses, which remove the rinsing water. A suitable collection tank
must be set up to collect the rinsing water. The collection tank is
not supplied as part of the delivery.
• The drainage hoses should not be removed while the device is in
operation.
• Position the device out of reach of children.
• Always wipe the device clean using a damp cloth. Do not position
the device near a direct jet of water.
• Only fill the water tank with fresh, cold water.
• Disconnect the device from the mains power during any prolonged
periods of inactivity.
• Protect the device against atmospheric factors, such as rain, frost
or direct sunlight.
• The device should not be operated in non-stationary places (e.g. on
board a ship).
