Mains monitoring relay CDMR-62

DATA ERROR

Parameter No:xxx
The number "xxx" in the display corresponds to the parameter number in the left column of table 1. If two numbers are
listed for one parameter, the first number refers to the corresponding star-type voltage, the second one to the corre-
sponding delta voltage. In the case of a checksum error of this kind, elimination may be successful by entering the pa-
rameter value once again (although the parameter value might be correct).
Parameter numbers 105 to 115 are used for internal scaling. In this case the unit has to be returned to the factory.
The K5 control circuit is designed to perform a watchdog function. If the K5 is configured as negated, it will be de-
energized not only in case of a data error or power supply failure, but also in case of a controller hardware failure.
Additional to self-monitoring the K5 can be assigned to any other monitoring function without restriction.
Use of the measuring voltage as auxiliary voltage
A measuring voltage in the range of 70 – 300 V AC is also permissible as an auxiliary voltage. However, it must be con-
sidered that all message relays transfer into the voltage-less condition in case the measuring voltage fails.
Parameterizing software for laptops
The serial interface offers a comfortable option for the parameterizing of the CDMR relay using a laptop or PC and to
document the set values. A special cable for the connection is available as an accessory.
User interface of the parameterizing program
Parameterizing the relay through a PC:
1. Load the parameter set into the PC: a) directly from the relay (PC menu: "Senden/Empfangen"/"Parameter
2. Set the parameter values and transfer to the CDMR ("Senden/Empfangen"/"Parameter senden")
The function of the CDMR is not impaired during the transfer of new parameters.
Exception: a short voltage triggering can occur when changing the grid type (3-wire and 4-wire grid).

/ Operating instructions
The relay has a self-monitoring program for error detection in the data memory (checksum er-
rors) which in the error case displays a message "DATA ERROR Parameter No. xxx". If the pa-
rameter "Selfmonitor.->K5" is set, the output relay K5 is changed to the alert state.

ured values at this time are stored.
