Latch / Latch Bracket Removal

NOTE

1. Cut off power to the hood unit.

2. The vent grill cover and filter assembly needs to

be removed before the latch / latch bracket can

be removed

1． Remove the latch bracket assembly screws

from the range hood housing

2． Move the latch bracket assembly

Section 4: Component Removal

NOTE

1. Note the mounting position of the latch to the latch

bracket before removal for proper reassembly

otherwise vent grill will not latch properly.

Remove two screws that secure the latch

to the latch bracket from the bracket latch and

NOTE

1. After replacing the new latch bracket assembly

reinstall vent grill cover. Check for proper

movement, latching and unlatching of the vent

grill and adjust latches as needed.

2. After the unit has been completely reassembled

run the hood and check all functions.
