CAUTION: DO NOT plug the power cord into an AC (mains) outlet until you complete
all connections.
CAUTION: If you have a dual-voltage system, make sure that the voltage selector switch
(115V/230V) on the bottom of the powered (left) speaker is in the proper position for the volt-
age supplied by your local electric utility. See step 1 and Figure 5.
1. If you did not purchase a dual-voltage system , go to step 2.
If you purchased a dual-voltage system , set the 115V/230V voltage selector switch on
the bottom of the pedestal of the powered (left) speaker (Figure 5) to the correct position
for your region:
North & Central
If you are not sure about what setting to use, contact your local electric utility for the
appropriate voltage setting.
2. Plug one end of the AC power cord into the AC power jack located on the back of the
pedestal of the left speaker.
3. Plug the other end of the power cord into an AC (mains) outlet.
4. Turn the power switch to ON (I). It is recommended that you leave this switch in the ON
position. The powered speaker system uses less than 11 watts in standby mode.
