Unplug the fan from the mains supply and secured
against reconnection
•
All rotating parts must be stationary.
•
All safety and working regulations EN 50110-1 and
IEC 60364 must be observed.
•
They must be carried out by qualified staff
according to EN 50110-1 and IEC 60364.
•
Regular cleaning of the fan will benefit its service
life.
•
Periodic maintenance and cleaning should be
done at least every 6 months.
•
Run the fan at full power for at least 2 consecutive
hours monthly to evaporate any moisture that may
have entered and to prevent rust in the bearings.
•
Before cleaning, first close the condensation holes
in the motor using the condensation plugs.
•
Check the fan and any air lines regularly for conta-
mination.
•
The complete fan may be cleaned with a damp
cloth or dry brush.
•
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents when clea-
ning.
•
Prevent water from entering the motor or electrical
wiring.
•
After cleaning, always remove the condensation
plug which is at the lowest point in the motor. Also
run the fan at full speed continuously for 2 hours at
full power to evaporate any moisture that may have
entered and to prevent rust in the bearings.
•
The bearings are maintenance-free. The service life
of the bearings is c.a. 30,000 hours in normal use.
After this period, the bearings should be replaced.
•
Regularly check the condition of the bearings
by turning the impeller by hand. This should be
smooth and noiseless.
•
Transport and store the fan only in the original
packaging.
•
Storage temperature: between -40°C and +60 °C.
•
Avoid hitting, bumping and unnecessary stress on
the packaging and/or the fan.
•
If the fan's packaging has suffered damage, have
the fan checked for damage.
•
Warranty applies only to appliances purchased
from Dryfast (through a dealer).
•
The manufacturer provides a one-year manufactu-
rer's warranty from the date of purchase on all
parts except the power cable
•
In case of any modification, both electrical and me-
chanical, as well as abuse of the unit through im-
proper voltage use, the warranty becomes null and
void.
•
To obtain replacement parts under warranty, proof
of purchase is required.
