Use suitable fastening material to hang up the article. If you
are unsure whether the fastening material supplied with the
article is suitable, seek advice from a specialist stockist.
Before drilling, ensure that there are no pipes or cables behind
the intended drilling point.
Protect the article from: impacts, heat, direct sunlight, sub-zero
temperatures, moisture and wet conditions.
The COB module is not replaceable.
Store the article in a dry place and at room temperatures.
Do not take the article apart and do not attempt to repair it. In
the event of any damage, please contact our customer service
department.
Dust off the article with a soft, dry cloth to clean it. More in-
tense soiling can be wiped off with a damp cloth.
Items Supplied
Unpack the items supplied and check them for completeness and
for possible transport damage. If you should fi nd any transport
damage, do not use the article(!), but contact the customer service
department.

Instructions
Inserting / Changing the Battery
1. Take the lamp head out of the bracket.
2. Twist the two halves of the lamp head in
opposite directions to open the lamp head.
3. To open the battery compartment, press
the locking catch on the battery compart-
ment cover and remove it.

4. Take used batteries out if necessary and
insert 3 new 1.5 V batteries of the AA type.
Pay attention to the correct polarity (+ / –)

(see inside of battery compartment).
5. Insert the battery compartment cover and
fl ip it shut so that you hear and feel it en-
gage in place.
6. Put the two halves of the lamp head back
together and twist them tight.
If the performance of the article diminishes or it starts to fl icker, the
batteries should be replaced.
Wall Mounting
The motion sensor only works in a dark environment.
You should therefore only affi x it in places with low
light absorption!
If the light is to be attached to the wall, the bracket (recess for nail
or screw present on the bottom) must be screwed onto the wall.
Use the fastening material supplied to attach the bracket. The type
of fastening material will depend on the condition of the wall on
which the light is to be attached. Make sure you follow the safety
instructions for assembly.
Use
1. Switching on – Twist the two halves of the lamp head in oppo-
site directions to open the lamp head. Slide the On / Off switch
to the position you want.
AUTO: The light switches on automatically when the motion
sensor registers a movement. The light switches off again after
around 25 seconds without registering a movement.
ON: The light is permanently switched on.

Put the two halves of the lamp head back together and twist
them tight.
2. Setting the illumination angle – The lamp head can be piv-
oted 360°, for individual alignment. Carefully insert it into the
bracket and adjust it to the position you want.
3. Positioning the article – The article can be set up or posi-
tioned on walls using suitable fastening material.
4. Switching off – If the light is no longer to be used, twist the
two halves of the lamp head in opposite directions to open the
lamp head. Slide the On / Off switch to the OFF position.

Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally
friendly manner and take it to a recycling centre.
Dispose of the article in an environmentally friendly man-
ner at a recycling centre for used electrical and electronic
devices. It should not be disposed of in the normal house-
hold waste. More information is available from your local
authorities.
The batteries should be removed prior to disposal of the
article and disposed of separately. To protect the environ-
ment, non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries must
not be disposed of with normal household waste, but must
be taken to suitable collection points. Also note the relevant
statutory regulations governing the disposal of batteries.
