• Never block the appliance's openings – fire hazard. Do not place the appliance on a soft surface

that could block the openings.

• Make sure that the air intake openings and air outlets are clean and free from dust at all times.

• Disconnect the appliance before cleaning.

• Clean externally using a slightly damp cloth. Never use solvents or abrasive detergents to clean

the appliance.

• If you have not used the appliance for some period of time, you may notice a slightly burnt

smell. This is normal and is due to an accumulation of dust on the heating element inside the

appliance.
