B. Select working mode:

Repeater

Client

AP (Access Point): Works as a wireless access point for wireless clients

Repeater: Works as a wireless repeater to extend wireless coverage

Client: Works as a wireless network client, to allow other devices to connect

to a wireless network

While the WAP-5883 is set in either Repeater or Client mode, use the WPS

Hardware button on the front of the device to connect to a wireless router (or

access point) quickly and easily.

1) Press and hold the button on the WAP-5883 for 2 seconds

2)The 'WPS' LED will start flashing

3) Press the WPS button on the access point you wish to connect within 2

minutes

Note:

1. In addition to the WPS hardware button setup, you can also login to the Web

user interface for more advanced settings. For detailed setup, see the following

pages.

2. For AP mode installation, no WPS pairing is necessary for initial setup. You

can, however, use the WPS button to pair other wireless devices with the

WAP-5883 when you are ready to associate them to the wireless network.
