Please note these mixers are not thermostatic and the output temperature is dependant
upon prevailing incoming water temperatures and pressures. Always take care when using
hot water, especially with children. Never leave a child unattended.
Pressure Suitability
These mixers have been designed to give high flow rates at low pressures for bath filling.
For high-pressure systems above 1 bar pressure where water consumption is excessive the
mixer is also provided with a Regul8 flow regulator that limits the maximum flow to 8
litres/min (+/- 10%) for the shower. Simply fit to the shower outlet between the shower hose
and the threaded outlet of the mixer. Fit the Regul8 insert with the holes facing the incoming
water stream and the 'O' ring facing towards the shower hose as shown below.
Installation
Home Safety Advice
Always take care when using an electric drill, particularly in the bathroom. Always check for
hidden cables and pipework before drilling and take extreme care if there is any water in the
working area.
Always wear suitable eye protection when drilling. Unplug any equipment after use.
Installation
1. Turn off all water and any electrical supplies.
2. Identify all components and check to see if complete before starting installation.
3. Where supplied (Ixia and Iona) place the base shrouds onto the inlet tail of the mixers.
4. Fit any sealing washers or gaskets to the mixer and then fit the mixer into the tap holes in the
bath.
5. Fit the metal back nuts onto the tap tails and tighten fully until the mixer is secure.
6. Connect the taps to hot and cold supplies. Isolating valves should be fitted to hot and cold
supply pipes.
7. Fit the waste (not supplied) to the bath.
