Installation in the pilot shaft:
Standard concrete shafts with a diameter of Ø 1000 mm can be used. The openings for the
supply and drain lines should be made using a core drill. In doing so, please observe the
following points:
1. Determine the diameters of the supply and drain lines
and select the appropriate drill or core bits.
2. Place the filter into the shaft and connect using short
pipe sections rockers through the concrete walls.
The connections can then be later quickly and easily
made on the construction site.
3. Seal off the openings in the concrete shaft either with
seals (Forsheda or Densio) or wall foam.
4. When installing the pipes, pay attention to the height
differences and position of the connections,
see table on the left side below
When inserting the shaft in the ground, compress the soil well and install the shaft in horizontal
position. Compress the soil underneath the pipes well. No ground settlement must occur in order
to keep the filter housing free from tension. The cascade inserts must be easy to remove and
re-install. This ensures perfect functioning.
