REPLACEMENT OF THE NEEDLE PACKING
Completely discharge the pressure in the system, disassemble the finger protection (tip guard),
the tip, the diffuser, the rear cap, the spring and the M3 nut. Unscrew the needle from the front
side of the gun by means of a 8mm (0.31 in.) wrench. Remove the piston, unscrew the packing
gland nut, pull out the pressure wedge and the stuffing box and replace it (see assembling
drawing).
WARNING
When screwing the needle in the piston, make sure that the needle thread bar comes
out 10mm (0.39 in.) from the piston shank, otherwise functioning problems can occur.
