DC24V and LINK OUT connectors
Your PREZONE642 may be installed in public places
and broadcast emergency signals. In order to remain
activated in case of power failure, it is equipped with a
24V emergency power supply socket.
More devices can be daisy-chained via the LINK OUT
socket.
Only the warning signal signal sent from the PRIORITY
INPUT will then be broadcast.

Power input
Connect here the supplied IEC power cord, then
connect the other end to an electrical outlet after having
checked the voltage.

INSERT Sockets
Allows you to add an effects processor, compressor,
limiter, etc.
Refer to chapter "Connectors" for more information
about these sockets.

SUB Outputs
Connect here an amplifier in order to power up another
subordinate zone. The signal level can be adjusted via
the front panel.

MAIN Outputs
Connect here an amplifier in order to power up speakers.
The signal level can be adjusted via the front panel
ZONE 1 and ZONE 2 knobs.

PRIORITY INPUT Socket
Connect here a signal coming from an emergency
system.
All signals will be interrupted if a signal is detected on
this input.

REC Output
Connect here a recording device.
The signal sent to this output is a mix of all signals
received via the inputs.

Line-level inputs
Any line-level signal can be sent to these inputs (CD
player, MP3, Tuner, etc.).

Microphone inputs
Connect here your microphones.
Channels 1 and 2 features optional phantom power
supply units to allow you to connect.

PRIORITY Switches
When activated, allow you to give priority to channel 1
or 2, they act like talk-overs and interrupt the signals of
non-priority channels.
The priority level of these channels will then be identical
to the PRIORITY INPUT (6).

PHANTOM Switches
Allow you to add an +18V DC phantom power supply to
microphone channels 1 and 2.
