Remove the jacket at the 35 mm
mark and leave the Kevlar.

Use the guide on the clamshell to
mark the tight buffer at 25 mm.

Strip the tight buffer from that
mark.
To avoid the buffer slips
from inside, roll pigtail cable
around your fingers to have a
better grip.
To avoid breaking the fiber, the
buffer should be stripped about
5 mm at a time.
IMPORTANT:
cable, the buffer and the 250µm
coating must be completely
removed to allow to cleave the
fiber.
