Loading the Void Printer Cartridge

The terminal uses an inkjet cartridge to print any message up to seventeen characters long onto

each processed check. The default cancellation messages are "ACH PROCESSED" or "VOID

VOID VOID". The inkjet cartridge is an HP inkjet print cartridge # hp c6602a available at most

office supply stores.

To access the cartridge, follow these steps:

1. Remove the new printer cartridge from its packaging, taking care to remove the small

plastic film strip on the face of the cartridge.

2. Turn the unit upside down or on its side. Remove the printer door by squeezing the

release tabs and lifting, as shown below. (FIGURE 3)

Important: Orient the printer cartridge tab to the same side as the printer door cable, as

shown below. The print head should be facing away from the cable. (FIGURE 4).

4. Toe the print head end of the cartridge into the printer door pocket, and rotate inward until

it clicks into place.

5. Snap the printer door back into the housing.

The lifespan of the printer cartridge is typically a few years, but can vary based on the number of

checks a merchant processes. It will start to print very light when the ink is running out or the

cartridge is drying up.
