Change unit
Switch the scale on and press the SET key short in order to change the units from kg into lb or oz. The
scale will indicate the chosen units in the display. n another weighing mode than kg you may change into
another mode (lb, oz or indication of room temperature). In this case press key and choose preferred
mode. Make sure the scale has been started before by pressing ON and the displays shows `0.00´.
Displaying the temperature
Switch the scale on and press the SET key and keep it pressed until the temperature is displayed. Press
the SET key again to return into the weighing mode. The temperature is shown in °C only.
Hold function
The scale is equipment with an automatic hold function. The weight of the baby will automatically be
locked in the display during each single weighing cycle. You can take the baby off the scale and read the
weight on the display for 60 seconds.. In order to unlock the weight press the HOLD key. The scale will
fully automatically re-weight if the bay is still paced at the scale or will show zero.
Warning signals and advices
If LOBAT is displayed, please replace the batteries. Always use two new batteries.
In case scale will not be used for a long period of time take the batteries out to protect the scale and
secure a long lifetime.
In case the scale does not show `0.00´ after having been started, press TARE to find the zero point.
Safety
Your ADE baby hanging scale is a precision instrument. Handle with care. Do not drop or let heavy

object fall onto it.
Never leave the baby unattended hanging in the weighing trouser.

Make sure the scale is not getting wet or stored in humid places. Fluids penetrating the scale can

Make sure only discharged batteries respective batteries with isolated poles will be disposed as

otherwise short circuits may occur. Never dispose batteries in fire, as they may leak or explode
Cleaning
For cleaning just use a damp cloth or common disinfection products. Do not use any aggressive cleaning
fluids. Make sure no water or cleaning fluid penetrates the scale.
Disposal
Electronic devices are no domestic waste.
If the scale is out of use the responsible waste disposal association will be glad to
advise you on the measures necessary to dispose of it properly.
In case of faulty results
Make sure batteries are inserted correctly.
Make sure you are in the weighing mode you selected (kg / lb / oz).
Do not load the scale before the display shows `0.00´.
