This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the

risk of electric shock, this plug will fit into the polarized outlet only one way. If the plug

does not properly fit into the outlet at first, reverse it. If it still does not fit, contact a

competent qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from becoming

entangled in, or tripping over a longer cord. Do not use the appliance with an extension

cord.

The cord is equipped with a detachable magnetic connector. The magnetic connector

should be attached directly to the fryer. This should always be done prior to plugging

the cord into the wall outlet. The plug is equipped with a system that prevents the plug

to be inserted the wrong way. If the plug cannot be inserted into the socket at the back

of the deep fryer, please turn the plug upside down and respect the marking on the

magnetic plug showing the side that needs to be placed up.

In the event of overheating, the thermal link will automatically switch the unit off. This

can happen if the fryer is not filled with sufficient oil or if solid frying fat (shortening)

is melted directly on the heating element or in the bowl. In the case of solid fat, the

heating element is unable to radiate the produced heat quickly enough. If the safety

thermal link switches the unit off, please reset the fryer by pushing the RESET button

located next to the grooves on the front of the control panel with a toothpick or similar

non-metallic object.
