Per assicurare il corretto funzionamento dei refrigeratori d'acqua e delle
I
pompe di calore è OBBLIGATORIO prevedere sulla tubazione idraulica in
ingresso alla macchina (lato utente e nel caso di unità acqua/acqua
anche lato dissipatore) un filtro meccanico che trattenga le impurità ed
assicurare quindi il corretto funzionamento dello scambiatore a piastre.

I filtri a "Y" possono essere installati su tubazioni orizzontali e verticali.
Installare il filtro nel senso indicato dalla freccia e con il tappo rivolto
verso il basso in modo che, al momento dell'apertura, il deflusso del
fluido trascini con sé le impurità raccolte sull'elemento filtrante (evitando
che ritornino all'interno della tubazione); controllare, a priori, che lo spazio
a disposizione consenta l'estrazione della cartuccia.
MANUTENZIONE
La pulizia dei filtri a "Y" deve essere programmata periodicamente, non
avendo la possibilità visiva dello stato di intasamento.
E' estremamente semplice da eseguire togliendo il tappo posto nella parte
inferiore del corpo. Nel caso di montaggio con tubazione vicino a
pavimento si raccomanda una distanza fra mezzeria tubo e pavimento
pari a due volte la distanza B per consentire l'estrazione del cestello filtro.
Alla messa in servizio di un nuovo impianto, dopo poche ore di
funzionamento, è buona norma eseguire l'apertura dei filtri installati per la
pulizia dai tipici residui dovuti al montaggio di tubazioni nuove.
Dopo la pulizia del filtro, verificare attentamente la guarnizione di tenuta
del tappo ed in caso di dubbi non esitare a sostituirla. Per utenze
particolari si consiglia di installare, a monte e a valle del raccoglitore, una
coppia di manometri al fine di valutare lo stato di intasamento del filtro.
Prima di effettuare la manutenzione accertarsi che il passaggio del fluido
sia stato intercettato.

"Y" WATER FILTER FOR CHILLERS AND HEAT PUMPS

To ensure that water chillers and heat pumps work properly it is MANDATORY
to fit the incoming water pipe (user side and in the case of water/water units
the heatsink side as well) with a mechanical filter that traps impurities and thus
assures correct functioning of the plate exchanger.
INSTALLATION
"Y" filters can be installed in horizontal and vertical piping. Install the filter in
the direction shown by the arrow, with the cap facing down so that when the
line is opened the flow of fluid will entrain the impurities collected on the filter
element (preventing them from returning into the pipe); first check that the
available space is sufficient to permit removal of the cartridge.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning of "Y" filters should be scheduled periodically since it is not possible
to determine the degree of clogging by visual inspection only.
It is an extremely easy task, to be carried out by removing the cap placed on
the lower part of the filter body. If the filter is to be installed in piping close to
the floor, make sure the distance between the pipe centre line and floor is at
least two times distance B in order to permit removal of the filter basket. After
putting into service a new system, it is a good idea to open the installed filters
after a few hours of operation to clean them of the typical residues associated
with newly installed pipes.
After cleaning the filter, carefully check the cap seal and do not hesitate to
replace it in case of doubt. For certain users it is recommended to install a pair
of pressure gauges upstream and downstream from the collector so as to be
alerted of when the filter is clogged.
Before carrying out maintenance make sure the flow of fluid has been shut off.
