trailerandrefuelit ontheground.Ifthisisnotpossible,
thenrefuelsuchequipmentonatrailerwith aportable

notuseanozzlelock-opendevice.

Extinguishallcigarettes,cigars,pipesandothersources
ofignition.

Neverfuelmachineindoorsbecauseflammablevaporswill
accumulateinthearea.

Neverremovegascaporaddfuelwhileengineishotor
running.Allowenginetocoolatleasttwominutesbefore
refueling.

Neveroverfillfueltank.Filltanktonomorethan1inch
belowbottomoffillernecktoprovideforfuelexpansion.

Replace gasolinecapandtightensecurely.

Ifgasolineisspilled,wipeit offtheengineandequipment.
Movemachinetoanotherarea.Wait5minutesbefore
startingengine.

Neverstorethemachineorfuelcontainernearanopen
flame,sparkorpilotlightasonawaterheater,space
heater,furnace,clothesdryerorothergasappliances.

Toreducefirehazard,keepmachinefreeofgrass,leaves,
orotherdebrisbuild-up.Cleanupoilorfuelspillageand
removeanyfuelsoakeddebris.

Allowmachinetocoolatleast5minutesbeforestoring.

weargloves,anduseextracautionwhenservicingthem.

operationregularly.

Afterstrikingaforeignobject,stoptheengine,disconnect
thesparkplugwireandgroundagainsttheengine.
Thoroughlyinspectthemowerforanydamage.Repairthe
damagebeforestartingandoperatingthemower.

Neverattempttomakeawheelorcuttingheight
adjustmentwhiletheengineisrunning.

Grasscatchercomponents,dischargecover,andtrailshield
aresubjecttowearanddamagewhichcouldexpose
movingpartsorallowobjectstobethrown.Forsafety
protection,frequentlycheckcomponentsandreplace
immediatelywith originalequipmentmanufacturer's
(O.E.M.)partsonly,listedinthismanual."Useofparts

theengine.Thegovernorcontrolsthemaximumsafe
