SafeHandlingOfGasoline:
1.
Toavoidpersonalinjuryorpropertydamageuseextreme
careinhandlinggasoline.Gasolineisextremelyflammable
andthevaporsareexplosive.Seriouspersonalinjurycan
occurwhengasolineisspilledonyourselforyourclothes,
whichcanignite.Washyourskinandchangeclothes
immediately.

Useonlyanapprovedgasolinecontainer.
3.
Neverfillcontainersinsideavehicleoronatruckortrailer
bedwith aplasticliner.Alwaysplacecontainersonthe
groundawayfromyourvehiclebeforefilling.
4.
Removegas-poweredequipmentfromthetruckor
trailerandrefuelit ontheground.Ifthisisnotpossible,
thenrefuelsuchequipmentonatrailerwith aportable
container,ratherthanfromagasolinedispensernozzle.

Keepthenozzleincontactwith therimofthefueltankor
containeropeningatalltimesuntil fuelingiscomplete.Do
notuseanozzlelock-opendevice.

Extinguishallcigarettes,cigars,pipesandothersources

fordamage(e.g.,bent,cracked,worn)Replace bladewith

weargloves,anduseextracautionwhenservicingthem.

Keepallnuts,bolts,andscrewstighttobesurethe
equipmentisinsafeworkingcondition.

Nevertamperwith safetydevices.Checktheirproper
operationregularly.

Afterstrikingaforeignobject,stoptheengine,disconnect
thesparkplugwireandgroundagainsttheengine.
Thoroughlyinspectthemowerforanydamage.Repairthe
damagebeforestartingandoperatingthemower.

Neverattempttomakeawheelorcuttingheight
adjustmentwhiletheengineisrunning.

Grasscatchercomponents,dischargecover,andtrailshield
aresubjecttowearanddamagewhichcouldexpose
