User's instructions
These instructions have been prepared by the manufacturer, and are an integral part of the product. It is recommended that these instructions are read and kept for future reference.
1. Compliance
DEA System radio devices comply with all technical regulations related to the product within the scope of applicability of European Directives 2014/35/EC, 2004/108/EC and 2014/53/EC. DEA System also
guarantees quality and compliance with Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) of the materials used for the assembly of the product. The declaration of conformity may be consulted at the end of the page.
2. Product description
GTI2, GTI4, GTI2M and GTI4M radio controls should be used with DEA products as control centres and external receivers set with compatible
transmission codes.
When a button is pressed, the radio control transmits the radio signal and turns on the LED that indicates, in addition to the type of code used:
• HCS rolling code - red LED (factory setting);
• DIP SWITCH HT12 - green LED;
• D.A.R.T. DEA Advanced Rolling Transmission - alternating red/green LED;
• CLONED signal - flashing green LED (function only available with GTI2M and GTI4M).
Refer to the receiver manual for information on the storage procedure.
3. Change transmission code
Hold down keys T1 and T2. When the radio control LEDs turn on (10s), wait until they flash to indicate the type of code set:
• 1 flash per second = HCS rolling code;
• 2 flashes per second = DIP SWITCH HT12;
• 3 flashes per second = D.A.R.T..
Hold down T1 and use T2 to change the type of flash. Once the new code has been selected, press and hold down key T2 until the LEDs turn off (5s).
4. Channel learning in cloneable mode
DEA remote controls with 433.92 MHz frequency can be cloned with GTI2M and GTI4M radio controls. Each key can save a specific signal sent from
the source transmitter.
Procedure:
• Identity the T key where you want to save the signal to be cloned. Hold down the T key and simultaneously press any other key on the radio control;
• After 10s and when the radio control LEDs turn on, release the second key still holding down the T key. When finished, the LEDs quickly flash to
indicate that you need to near the source radio control;
• Press the source radio control key to be cloned. The LED flashes green for a long period of time during cloning;
• Release all keys when the LEDs turn off;
• If the signal was successfully saved, the GTI2M / GTI4M radio control LED flashes to indicate CLONED signal (flashing green LED) when the T key is pressed.
WARNING: follow the positions of the two illustrated radio controls to correctly complete cloning.
WARNING: when RESETTING (6) or changing code (4), the radio control loses any saved clones.
5. Settings RESET
The RESET procedure requires the following steps:
• HCS rolling code settings;
• Factory serial number reset;
• Delete any transmission key customisations;
• Delete any saved clones.
Hold down the T1 and T2 keys to reset the radio control. When the radio control LEDs turn on (10s), release both keys. Within 2s, hold down the T1 and T2 keys and wait another 10s for the reset procedure to complete,
signalled by 3 LED flashes.
6. Hidden key function
Hold down the T1 and T2 keys to transmit the "hidden key" signal. When the radio control LEDs turn on (10s), release both keys. After releasing, press the T1 key within 2s to transmit the "hidden key" signal.
7. Battery low signal
At the end of each transmission, after releasing the pressed key, the LED flashes red 3 times to indicate that the battery is low.
8. Replacing batteries
Proceed as follows to remove or replace the batteries:
Remove the battery cover, using a screwdriver if needed; Replace the battery; Close the cover and check that the transmitter works properly.
Note: If the casing of the battery doesn't firmly close, stop the usage of the product and keep it out of reach of children.
Note: The usage of the wrong type of battery causes a risk of explosion. Use exlusively the indicated type of battery.
9. Disposal
In compliance with EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE), this electrical product must not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste. Please dispose of the product by bringing it to your local municipal collection point
for appropriate recycling.
Attention!
This product contains a "button" type battery. Keep the new and used batteries out of reach of children.
! DO NOT INGEST THE BATTERY ! If the battery is ingested, it may cause serious internal burns in just 2 hours and bring to death.
In case of suspected ingestion or insertion in other body parts, immediately contact a doctor.
