Determine the amount of sand
and gravel specified by your
filter manufacturer
Example: 25 kg (55 lbs) of sand x 0.85 = 21kg (47 lbs) of AFM
If your filter uses 135kg (300lbs) of sand you will use 10 bags / 113 kg (250lbs) of AFM
(300 x 0.85 = 255) rounding the amount to the nearest bag count is recommended.
