B/W Mode-Fix terminal

The picture mode can be fixed at B/W by shorting the two contacts on the B/

W Mode-Fix terminal (See the figure below for details). Fixing the

picture mode at B/W can prevent the picture from having an optical oscilla-

tion, a phenomenon in which continuous switching between colour mode

and B/W mode occurs under infrared illumination. (See the section #11-②.)

Other important precautions pertaining to the Day/

Night function

①Focus adjustment must be made in Colour (=Day) mode. Never perform

focus adjustment in B/W (= Night) mode.

②Ensure to check the brightness of an infrared lamp which is to be used with

this product. Excessive infrared illumination may cause an optical

oscillation. Refer to section #10 above and fix the picture mode at B/W in

order to avoid an optical oscillation under excessive infrared illumination.

Completing the Adjustment and Installation

① Attach the body cover.
