Handling precautions
E-1.
(1) Do not open the camera housing unless absolutely necessary. Otherwise, the
internal precision parts may be damaged, resulting in troubles.
(2) Do not use the camera in any place where it is exposed to water or high moisture.
Preferably use the camera at ambient temperatures of -10 to +50°C.
(3) While moving the camera, be careful not to drop or shock it.
(4) Do not touch the CCD faceplate.
General
E-2.
The ICD-68 is a dome-shaped black-and-white camera which employs 1/3" CCD and is
compatible with AC 24V power supply.
This lens built-in type camera which incorporates the exclusive automatically
controllable iris and variable focal lens is equipped with the basic functions such as high
sensitivity, backlight compensation, mirror imaging and line lock, for general-purpose
monitoring. Since small dome shape design is employed for the outside, it is best suited
as an indoor monitor camera that gives weight to interior decorating effect. (The unit is for
interior monitoring only.)
Features
E-3.
(1) Small dome
Since the camera and lens are encased in the small dome shell which is quite
different from the housing of ordinary camera, it is possible to monitor by image
without awareness of the location of camera. (Indoor only)
(2) Integration with variable focal lens
The unit is integrated with the focal lens variable from standard angle to x2.3 wide
angle. Imaging focal depth can be adjusted freely by removing the dome cover.
(3) High sensitivity
Employment of the high-sensitivity CCD with on-chip microlens and the high-
performance AGC signal processing provide the unit with high sensitivity of the
minimum subject illuminance as low as 0.3 lux at F1.6 (at full wide).
(4) Line lock
Since the operation of the unit is synchronized with the power supply frequency, a
stable monitor image can be obtained without generation of screen scrolling at the
time of switching of camera in automatic sequential image switching operation when
plural sets of camera are used in the monitor system.
(5) Backlight compensation
Backlight can be compensated effectively according to the intensity of subject backlight.
K32775
(6) Mirror image function
Since the unit is equipped with the mirror image function that can horizontally invert
the image by switch operation, the image obtained by indirect monitoring with use of
mirror can be flipped back to the normal image.
