The ClearCurve™Drop Cable Pulling Grip Kit (p/n TKT-CCPG) contains the following items

• Twenty 2-foot pieces of 1/4-inch flame retardant mesh grip

• One roll of electrical tape

Tools and Materials

The following tools and materials are also required to complete this procedure

• Tape measure

• Electricians scissors

Pulling Grip Preparation

Step 1:

Each ClearCurve cable assembly is

neatly packaged with clear wrap

around the bulk cable portion. As you

unwrap the assembly, use scissors to

cut a piece (about 4 x 4 in.) of the

clear wrap (Figure 1).

Step 2:

Wrap the connector on the end to be pulled with the

square of clear wrap (Figures 2 and 3). The wrap will

help protect the connector from impurities and main-

tain connector shroud integrity as the connector is

being pulled through duct, especially if the duct is not

clean or dry.
