Appearance
The appearance of the optical power meter is shown in Figure 2-1.

Description of Panel
2.1 Dust cover
The dust cover should be closed normally and only allowed to open when testing. The dust cover has
the functions of dustproof, windproof etc., so as to avoid insertion loss or the test error caused by dust.
2.2 Display
It is a 128*64 pixel LCD; please pay attention to protecting the screen when using; it is strictly prohibited
to touch it by hard objects.
2.3 Power Supply
For user convenience, the meter is powered by a built-in lithium battery and DC external input. The latter
can be supplied via the AC adapter. If the power is supplied from the adapter, the power meter is
simultaneously charged.
2.4 Charging indicator
When the AC adapter is plugged in, the power button indicator is in red, indicating that the internal
lithium battery is charging. When charging is complete, the indicator light turns off.

Keyboard description
a) [
]: Power switch. The charging indicator is located under the [
lights up, it indicates that the battery is charging, and the indicator is off when the battery is fully charged.
b) [
]: Zero key. Press this button to perform zero setting. This function needs to be performed when
the protective cover is closed or the light is blocked; when viewing the data, it is used for deleting current
record viewed.
c) [
]: Wavelength setting button. Set 1550nm, 850nm, 1300nm, 1310nm in turn; when viewing the
data, it is used for viewing previous record.
d) [
]: Press this button to save the measurement data; when viewing the data, it is used for exiting the
View mode.
e) [
]: Measurement mode switching button. After the instrument is turned on, it is in the logarithmic
measurement mode by default. Pressing this button multiple times can switch between logarithmic
measurement (dBm), relative measurement (dB) and linear measurement (W). The switching sequence
