CONTENTS

1 x UltraStream unit, inlet hose and flow diverter (This diverter

will fit a "standard" 23mm diameter tap with male thread (27

tpi, threads per inch)

1 x UltraStream outlet spout

1 x Set of 3 flow diverter attachment rings (suitable for male/

female thread conversions for both 21mm or 23mm diameter

taps)

1 x pH test reagent bottle

PREFACE

The UltraStream is suitable for anybody that wants to improve

their health and wellbeing by regaining their body's natural

alkaline balance and drinking clean, filtered water. The

UltraStream delivers fresh water that is completely safe and

chemical-free. UltraStream's advanced filtration system removes

a wide range of harmful chemicals including fluoride then

remineralises your water with beneficial alkaline minerals. At the

same time its proprietary ionizing media charges the water with

negative hydrogen ions, giving it very powerful antioxidant ability.

INSTALLATION

1. REMOVE AERATOR

Unscrew aerator from your faucet

counter-clockwise.

2. ATTACH DIVERTER

Attach your UltraStream diverter

to your faucet. Take care not to

twist the hose. (Also, a little Teflon

plumbers' tape may be needed).

If you need the hose to be shorter,

unscrew the collar on the diverter,

remove the hose, and cut to preferred length. Re-attach hose

by inserting hose end into collar, pushing hose onto diverter and

screwing the collar tightly.

If your kitchen faucet's thread does not match our diverter, please

check whether any of the alternative attachment rings provided

with your UltraStream work and if not please contact your dealer

or go to our website at

3. ATTACH SPOUT

Connect the spout to the top of the unit.

4. TURN ON THE WATER

Push the diverter pin to divert flow into your

UltraStream.

5. FLOW CONTROL

- Twist'n'Flow

UltraStream's base has a mains pressure certified flow valve

inside of it. By placing the base on any flat surface and twisting it,

your UltraStream's flow rate is adjusted

from zero all the way up to full flow.

To test the flow control: turn

UltraStream anti-clockwise to open and

clockwise to close and control flow.

UltraStream's unique swivel-flow system

on the base of the unit will adjust flow

rate as you twist.

6. FIRST FLUSH.

Run the UltraStream for approximately

15-20 mins at around 1 litre per minute

to remove filter dust residues and fully

soak the filter media. Do not drink this

water.

7. TURNING OFF

When you turn off flow at your faucet

diverter, filtered water may still flow for 20-30 seconds. This

is due to residual pressure that may build up inside the

UltraStream's highly efficient filter.

8. TESTING pH

Test the pH of the source water and the output of the

UltraStream.

To test pH of water add one drop of pH reagent (included) to

approximately 10ml (0.4 fl.oz) of water, shake or mix well. Match

the colour of the same to the chart included.

Adjust the flow to achieve the desired pH

NOTE;

NOT IN USE?

If your UltraStream is unused for a few days in a row, the first

use water may be slightly grey and have a strong taste. This is

caused by initial output water soaking in the energising media

ever since you last used it. Allow water to run for 1-3 minutes

through the UltraStream or until it becomes clear once more.

If you intend to leave your UltraStream unused for a longer time

we recommend removing the filter and storing it in the fridge.

Flush filter for 4-5 minutes before use.

UNDERSINK INSTALLATION

The UltraStream can easily be installed undersink. The AlkaWay

undersink kit (sold separately) includes fittings and a specially

designed faucet.

FILTER REPLACE

Replacing your UltraStream filter cartridge is the easiest filter

replacement ever. That's because of your UltraStream's simplicity

of design.

1. Grip Spout and lift off

(twist a little if necessary)

2.lift off filter cap

3. Hold base and unscrew

filter in a anti-clockwise

direction.

To install new filter,

reverse this sequence.

FILTER LIFE

We've designed the Ultra filter media to last up to 12 months for

four people each drinking 2 litres per day of municipal supply

water. This will vary depending on the quality of your own water.

We do not guarantee filter performance in non-civic-supply areas.
