Instructions for Continued Airworthiness Bell 206B
Possible Cause
The 500W Series unit has detected a
failure in its TAWS system.
The external TAWS inhibit key is
stuck.
The external HTAWS aural
suppression input is stuck
The external TAWS reduced
protection key is stuck
The current Terrain configuration is
not supported by the hardware.
The unit's terrain settings have
changed since it was last turned on
in normal mode.
The 500W Series unit has detected a
problem with a database on the
Terrain data card.
The unit has detected a failure in the
terrain system.
communicate with the traffic system
and/or the traffic system is reporting a
system failure.
The traffic device is reporting a system
failure.
A data card has been inserted, but the
format of the card is not recognized.
Solution
Ensure that terrain database
is inserted in right most card
slot.
Reload the terrain database.
