3. INSTALLATION

A. PREPARATION

Rough-in hot/cold water supplies and drain piping.

Refer to Fig. #1 .

NOTE: The trap must be installed so centerline of

lavatory outlet is 7-1/2" from finished wall.

NOTE: Supply stop handles (fully opened) must not

extend beyond 4" from finished wall to avoid

interference with back of pedestal.

Install sufficient bracing behind finished wall to support

150 pounds.

Mark location of lavatory hanger bolts and install the

hanger bolts. They should protrude 1-3/4" from finished

wall.

NOTE: Ensure each hanger bolt height from floor is

exact by using a level, or lavatory will not be level when

installed.

B. INSTALL FITTINGS

Install faucet and drain on lavatory. Use product

manufacturer's instructions. Ensure 1-1/4" tailpiece is

installed in drain body.

C. INSTALL LAVATORY

NOTE: Three people are required for lavatory

installation: two people to support lavatory and one to

guide and attach hardware.

Carefully slide lavatory onto hanger bolts. Ensure

lavatory is level and drain is properly aligned. Adjust as

required.

Secure lavatory to wall with rubber washers, metal

washers and nuts. Do not overtighten nuts.

CAUTION: Risk of personal injury or product

damage. Fireclay lavatory can chip or break easily

if bolts or nuts are overtightened or product is

handled carelessly.
