connect your SwitchView IP device.

About the SwitchView IP remote
access device
Using industry standard TCP/IP connectivity, the
SwitchView IP device adds secure remote BIOS
level access to a PS/2 server or existing KVM
(keyboard, video, mouse) switch.
NOTE: For instructions on connecting a SwitchView
IP remote access device to a KVM switch, refer to
the SwitchView IP Installer/User Guide.
Attaching host computer video
Disconnect the video cable from the host computer
and plug it into the Video Out port on the rear of
the SwitchView IP remote access device.
Attaching host computer mouse
Disconnect the mouse from the host computer and
plug the connector into the Mouse port on the rear
of the SwitchView IP device.
Attaching host computer keyboard
Disconnect the keyboard from the host computer
and plug the connector into the Keyboard port on
the rear of the SwitchView IP device.

Attaching the host computer to the
SwitchView IP device
Using the KVM cable supplied with the unit, attach the
green connector to the host CPU's Mouse port, the purple
connector to the Keyboard port and the blue video
connector to the Video port. Attach the two black KVM
cable connectors to the Video In and Computer ports on
the rear of the SwitchView IP device.

Attaching the unit to the network
Using a 10/100 Ethernet cable, attach the SwitchView

IP remote access device to the network through the
Network port on the front of the unit.

Connecting power
Connect the 12 V power adaptor to the Power port on
the rear of the unit and to a grounded power source.
