Never turn the GFCI on when the spa is empty.
Always turn the GFCI off when filling the spa or performing maintenance of any kind.
Turning the GFCI on when the spa is empty will immediately damage some components.
Remove the access panel on the same side as the topside controls.

Hand tighten the plumbing unions at the heater and pumps.
S
Remove the filter lid & filters.
S
Rinse the acrylic surface & drain water that remains after cleaning.
S
Wipe the surface with a clean, soft cloth.
S
Close the spa drain.
S
Put the water hose in filter housing & begin filling .
S
Check for leaks at the drain & plumbing unions; tighten if necessary.
S
Remove the hose when water level is approximately 1" above the jets..
S
Replace the filters & filter lid.
S
Turn the GFCI on .
S
Refer to the topside control booklet for start-up & user instructions.

Replace the cabinet panel & spa cover.
S
S Allow water temperature to reach at least 80°F before adding chemicals.
