AV-100

SETUP

The AV-100 is shipped ready to operate with the exception of the antenna, power and

audio connections and channel selection.

Antenna Hook Up:

The antenna input on the AV-100 is an F-type (75 Ω) connector, and is located on the

rear of the AV-100. Your on-air house feed or a suitable antenna should be connected

here.

Power Hook Up:

Power to the AV-100 is supplied via a power adapter. Plug the adapter into a 120 VAC

standard wall socket, and plug the other end into the power input socket on the rear

panel (figure 2, page 1).

Channel Selection:

To set the AV-100 to your desired on-air channel, proceed as follows.

1. Ensure that the power adapter has been unplugged.

2. Remove the five Phillips-head screws holding down the top cover; remove the cover.

3. Set the dip switch S1 to the binary equivalent of the channel number. A table of

channel settings is found on a chart inside the unit and on page 4 of this manual.

4. Replace the cover and connect the power adapter.

SAP Channel Hook Up:

To utilize the SAP channel from the 600 Ω, balanced rear panel output, simply connect

a female XLR to the male XLR connector on the rear of the AV-100. Use the rear panel

adjustment control to set the proper level.

Main Channel Hook Up:

To utilize the Main channel from the 600 Ω, balanced rear panel output, simply connect

a female XLR to the male XLR connector on the rear of the AV-100. Set the proper

level via the rear panel adjustment control.
