Hard-Disk Drive Removal
To remove a hard-disk drive from the internally accessible drive bracket, perform the following steps.
CAUTION: Before you remove the computer cover, see
1. Remove the
computer
cover.
2. Disconnect the DC power cable and data cable from the drive.
3. Remove the screw holding the hard-disk drive bracket to the drive bay.
4. Rotate the drive bracket upward to disengage it from the latch on the drive bay, slide it to the left, and lift it out of the chassis. (see Figure 15).
