Problem
In the burner display,
the symbol will flash
alternately with the
selected power setting
or .
After switching on a
cooking zone, appears
in the front left cooking
zone display and
appears in the front
right cooking zone
display for a few
seconds.
After switching on a
cooking zone,
appears in the front left
cooking zone display
and appears in the
front right cooking zone
display for a few
seconds.
The cooking zones do
not heat up.
A burner turns itself off
automatically.
The booster has
automatically turned off
early.
The burner is not
working in the usual
way with the set power
level.
Power setting 9 is
automatically reduced if
you select power
setting 9 on two linked
burners or extended
zones at the same time.

Possible cause and remedy
There is no or unsuitable cookware on the cooking
zone.
Use a suitable pan (see "Cookware").
The system lock has been activated.
You need to deactivate the system lock (see
"System lock").
Demonstration mode is activated.
Turn the rotary control for the front left cooking
zone anti-clockwise and hold.
Turn the rotary control for the front right cooking
zone twice briefly anti-clockwise and then turn
anti-clockwise and hold until appears in the
display.
A burner might have been operated for too long.
You can use the burner again by turning it back on
(see "Safety shut-off").
The overheat protection was triggered.
