Important Safety Instructions

The use of the charger by persons and children under

16 years and persons with limited physical, sensorial or

mental abilities is forbidden. The charger may only be

used by trained and instructed personnel over 16 years.

Children must not play with the charger. The charger is

only suited for indoor operation and must not be expo-

sed to moisture.

– The charger must not be operated near other

radiant heaters.

– The charger may only be operated in rooms with

sufficient ventilation.

– The charger must not be operated in opened status.

The vent slots must not be covered.

– Non-rechargeable batteries must not be charged

with this charger. Damaged batteries must not be

charged.

CAUTION

This charger version uses selectable charging characte-

ristics. Verify the DIP switch settings of the device (see

chapter charging characteristics before charching).

Charge only batteries according to the selected charging

carateristics.

WARNING: The use of a wrong characteristic can lead

to explosion of the battery during charging!

Please note: Avoid deep discharges of the battery.

Cleaning and maintenance works at closed chargers may

only be carried out by qualified specialists and trained

personnel.

The charger may only be opened by qualified specialists.

Please remove the mains and battery plugs before ope-

ning, the device must not be opened before a waiting

time of 5 minutes.

All types of repairs and changes to the charger are

forbidden.
