Winter Return De-Icer! You are the owner of one of the best

winter de-icers on the market today. The Winter Return De-Icer

simply threads onto your existing Aquascape check valve – for use

with an Aquascape Pro 1500 or 3000 pump.

1) Getting to Know Your Winter Return De-Icer

Purpose for the Winter Return De-Icer

In the winter when ponds can freeze up completely, toxic gases can build up in the pond

and cannot escape. These toxic gases lead to oxygen depletion in the water and cause the

poisoning of fish. Due to this lack of oxygen, fish have a very low chance of surviving.
