Connecting the iPod or iPhone

Connect the AC power.

The AC adaptor (switching power supply) is in the
standby condition when the mains plug is connected.
The primary circuit is always "live" as long as the mains
plug is connected to an electrical outlet.
Note:
• The included AC mains lead is for use with this unit
only. Do not use it with other equipment.
• Do not use an AC mains lead from other equipment.
• Do not use any other AC adaptors (switching power
supplies) except the supplied one.

Insert the dock adaptor into the main unit.
iPod
Use the adaptor supplied with your iPod or refer
to Apple Inc. for the compatible dock adaptor
(for details, refer to the instructions supplied with the
dock adaptors), which may need to be purchased
separately.
iPhone
Use an appropriate iPhone adaptor when playing an
iPhone.
Connect the iPod or iPhone to the main unit.
Hold the main unit when connecting or disconnecting
the iPod or iPhone.
