Unless the following precautions are observed, the UV rays will hit the specimen

surface and cause a hazardous situation.

*1. Combinations of filter units for the specified excitation and barrier filters must always

be attached along a single line as shown in the illustration above. Also incorrect

combination will cause a hazardous situation.

*2. Always attach a dummy unit whenever no filter unit is used.
