Install the Device
The Crestron
DM-RMC-100-S can be mounted onto a flat surface or onto a rack rail.

Mounting onto a Flat Surface
Using four mounting screws (not included), mount the device onto a flat surface such as a wall or a
ceiling.
Mounting onto a Rack Rail
The DM-RMC-100-S mounts onto the front or rear rail of a rack. Position the device horizontally so
that the holes in one of the mounting flanges align with the holes in the rack. Then, secure the device
to the rack using two rack mounting screws (not included).

Set the IP Address
Setup of the IP address of the DM-RMC-100-S depends on the way the device is configured within
the DigitalMedia 8G™ system:
• If the DM-RMC-100-S connects to a DM
switcher automatically.
• If the DM-RMC-100-S connects to a DigitalMedia 8G fiber transmitter, the
DM-RMC-100-S uses its own configuration settings. By default, DHCP (Dynamic Host
Configuration Protocol) is enabled. If assignment of the default IP address to the
DM-RMC-100-S is desired, hold down the SETUP button while the unit boots up.
The default IP address 192.168.1.244 overwrites the current setting. To manually set a different
IP address, use the Crestron Toolbox™ application.
