Examination

Phase Difference Image

This image is generated by subtracting the phase values from images

acquired with positive and negative cyclic motion encoding. The image

is scaled so that a phase accumulation of minus pi is mapped to 0 and a

phase accumulation of plus pi is mapped to 4095. The phase difference

images are acquired to depict the displacement field at four different

phases of the applied cyclic motion.

Confidence Map

As a measure of the wave SNR, the wave field is fit with a polynomial

model. The R squared value from this fit is multiplied by 1000 and dis

played in this series. Areas with high R squared values have the high

wave amplitudes relative to the amount of phase noise.

propagation displayed.

If necessary, load the phase difference and confidence images in

the viewer.
