Reduce costs and improve security with

robust DRM technology

Samsung LYNK™ DRM technology provides hoteliers, facil-

ity managers and owners with a safeguarded and cost- ef-

fective alternative to traditional hardware-based content

protection systems. This technology allows encrypted con-

tent to pass safely and to display on hospitality screens.

A software-only implementation, Samsung LYNK™ DRM

technology provides quicker recovery for Conditional Ac-

cess System (CAS) problems. Enhanced functions include

a support video on demand (VoD) system. To help ensure

reliability, the technology also supports additions to cable

head-end equipment.

Provide guests with various channel

selections

The built-in DVB-T2/C/S2 tuner is a quad tuner that delivers

multiple channels directly to hospitality displays without the

need for a head-end system. The displays also support mul-

tiple satellite inputs from Digital Satellite Equipment Control

(DiSEqC). The tuner helps lower TCO by eliminating the need

to purchase head-end devices for satellite and terrestrial

channels. It also enhances the guest experience by allowing

guests to enjoy a variable range of HD satellite, cable and

terrestrial TV channels.

The optional, attachable clock helps hoteliers provide the

correct time to guests. The clock's backup power supply

eliminates the need to reset the time if a power interruption

occurs. The clock can run accurately without external power

for up to 7 days.

features

Samsung HB67x Series offers many features to help busi-

nesses save energy and reduce costs. The LED displays are

cost-effective because they use less energy, emit less carbon

dioxide (CO

) and require less maintenance than conventional

hospitality displays. Additionally, the displays are built with

fewer harmful materials than cold- cathode fluorescent lamps

(CCFLs), so manufacturing and recycling processes are more

efficient and environmentally friendly.
