Paper Feed and Separation Mechanism

The paper tray holds 500 sheets. The paper feed roller [A] drives the top sheet of paper from the paper

tray to the copier/printer. The friction pad [B] allows only one sheet to feed at a time. The friction pad

applies pressure to the feed roller with a spring [C].
