A: Long Fold

B: File Fold
The folded edges are aligned.
The leading edge protrudes from the bottom, so that the
output can be filed in a ring binder.
In this type of fold, the fan fold motor feeds the paper about
40 mm further than normal, before the first fold is made.

Make sure that the class understands the concept of 'peak fold' (on the right-
hand side of a stack) and 'valley fold' (on the left side of the stack) as stated
in the manual.
In a long fold, the first fold is a peak fold.
In a file fold, the first fold is a valley fold.
