Enter the ping command as shown in the diagram.

Enter the IP address after the ping command.

For the printer's IP address, check what is displayed

after selecting [Information] - [Network] on the

control panel of the printer unit.

When the [Reply] message is displayed as shown

in the diagram, verification of connection is complete.

Proceed to installation of the printer driver.

When the "Request timed out" message is displayed,

check the printer's power supply, network cable

connection, and printer's or computer's TCP/IP

settings again.
