be replaced. See the next section for instructions.
Spare lamps are provided with new air filters. When replacing the
lamp, please replace the air filter at the same time.

Replacing the Lamp

The projection lamp typically lasts for about 2000 hours of use.
SM
It is time to replace the lamp when:
❏ The projected image gets darker or starts to deteriorate.
❏ The
error light on top of the projector is flashing red
in 0.5-second intervals.
❏ The message
LAMP REPLACE
the projector lamp comes on (after about 1900 hours of use).
To maintain projector brightness and image quality, replace
the lamp as soon as possible after you see the message.
Request replacement lamp part number V13H010125.
Note:
To view the number of hours your lamp has been used, check the
About menu.
Warning:
Be extremely careful when removing the lamp module. Let the lamp
cool before replacing it. If the lamp breaks, handle the shards
carefully to avoid injury. In the unlikely event that the bulb has
ruptured, small glass fragments may be present and should be
removed with caution. If your projector is mounted on the ceiling,
you should unmount it before accessing the lamp compartment.
This will make it easier for you to replace the lamp and minimize
the chance of any small glass fragments dropping from the projector.
