Pause
For services such as home banking and when connected to
certain switchboards
you may need to insert a pause intothe
dialling sequence when storing in the memory.
Latching privacy
To store a pause in the memo~ press the Pause button
Where required.
Press the Privacy button, the privacy light comes on.
While the privacy light is on, your caller is unable to hear
what you are saying.
To remove privacy: press the Privacy button again.
Using your CWB I 00 with a
hearing aid
Your CWB I 00 is titted with a device to improve the sound
quality for people using hearing aids. If you wear a hearing
~
aid, switch ~ to ~he T P?sition. You shou!d a~just the P?sition
~
of the earpiece In relatIon to your heanng aId to obtain the
best possible reception.
Position the switch an the back of your telephone marked
R I/R2/R3 to the required tone.
Recall
This is often used for a number of services available from
your telephone network and for use when connected to
.certain
switchboards. Details on when to use the R button
will be explained by your network or swrtchboard provider:
Ringer volume
Move the switch on the back of the telephone to adjust the
ringer to the required volume: Oft; Low, High.

Using the phone
During a call you can mute your voice so your caller cannot
hear you while you hold a conversation
with someone else
in the room. You can still hear your caller:

If your switchboard
has a voicemail facility and your
extension has been allocated a voice mailbox, the
message indicator
light will come on when you have
messages waiting.
Your CWB I 00 lets .you choose between 3 different
ringing tones.
