Slide the strip of film into the film holder, with the duller

(emulsion) side up.

Reinstall the filmstrip cover over the strip of film (it should snap

into place). Press it around the edges to make sure it is closed.

Place the film holder on the document table, as shown.

Insert the positioning posts on the film holder into the two holes

near the scanner lid. The film should be in the center of the

document table so that it is under the lamp when the scanner lid

is closed.

Close the scanner lid.
