GP300 Portable Radios

Low Battery Alert

If the battery is low on your radio, an audible alert tone

alerts you during transmit or receive mode. During transmit,

on the release of the PTT button the radio emits 2 medium

pitched chirp tones. During receive/standby mode, the radio

emits 2 medium pitched chirp tones. These tones emit

approximately every 20 minutes during transmit or receive

mode until the battery is completely drained of power.
