7. GENERAL INFORMATION

7.1 DIAGNOSIS

7.1.1 DISASSEMBLY

Removing the Case(not shown)

1. Remove the Seal.

2. Remove the two screws, and remove the Case.

Removing the Heat Sink(Fig.1)

1. Remove the two screws A, two screws B, and two

screws C.

1. Remove the two screws A, and two screws B.

2. Remove the Heat Sink.

Screws A, B, C and D are of different types. When

reassembling the unit, use the correct screws.

Do not insert the screw to the other holes than the pre-

scribed one. A wrong insertion may deform the hold-

er(CNC7146) and lead to the breakage of the Power

Amp IC. (Fig.2)

Removing the Main Unit (Amp Unit)(Fig.3)

1. Remove the two screws D.

2. Remove the Main Unit (Amp Unit).

Cautions on removing the Power Amp IC(Fig.4)

When replacing the Power Amp IC(IC401,IC503), open

the holder's hooks fixing the IC, and then remove the

ICs.

Note that the same shaped connectors (with different

pin arrangement) are used in other models.
