CONVENIENT OPERATION FOR RECORDING
Time fade editing
Tracks are selected within the specified time and playback pauses
with a fade-out.
1 During stop mode, press TIME FADE EDIT.
2 Select the disc No. and track No. to be first
played with the DISC NUMBER button and >>
3 Enter the playing time in minutes with digit
buttons ( [1 ]-
).
@ The [10] button functions as 0.
e To si 9 minutes or less: After pressing [10], press [1]
For example, to enter 23 minutes, press 2] and|3}
sequentially,
The displayed time is memorized.
The player programs the
tracks within the selected playing time.

NOTES:

if Random playback, Track Search or Disc Search is done during
Time Fade Editing play, Time Fade Editing will be cleared.
e /f a tape playing time beyond the total playing time is selected,
the player also programs the tracks on the next dise and the
Fade-out function will be carried out on the next disc.

/f the magazine is in the player, the program contents will not
be erased even if the power is turned off. However, if the
power is turned off with an audio timer or unplugging the
power cord, the program contents will be erased.

© During Time Fade operation, programming for Program Playback/
Delete Program Playback cannot be carried out.
e@ When
the program (Disc Program/Track Program) procedure
has been performed, Time Fade operation programs the tracks
among the programmed tracks, starting from the first step of
the program (Program Time Fade). In this case, programmed
pauses cannot be activated.

When the delete program procedure has been performed, Time
Fade operation programs the tracks other than deleted discs/
tracks (Delete Time Fade). If RANDOM PLAY is pressed, the
tracks are programmed in random order (Delete Random Time
Fade).

the tracks in random order.

To exit Time Fade Editing mode:
Before specifying the playing time, press TIME
FADE
EDIT or
STOP/CLEAR. When the playing time is already specified, press
CLEAR.
