6. How to adjust "flow detecting setting"

a) Press the start button and the unit displays the total number of tests performed

for a second and then displays

b) Press and hold the mode button for more than 5 seconds till the unit

displays

Press mode button shortly till the unit displays

c) You can adjust flow detecting setting by pressing start button.

d) 3 kinds of settings are available - standard, user, low

Flow Detection Settings

Use this option to adjust how hard a user is required to blow.

Press Start to change the settings.

Standard level flow detection

This is the default setting for the unit.

User activated test mode

Press Start again to change to the USER activated test mode.

When testing in this mode the operator must press Start to take

a breath sample during blowing and to perform a test.

Low level flow detection

Press Start again to change to the low level flow setting.

This level requires a less forceful breath by the user.

This setting is helpful for subjects with decreased lung

capacity and can also be helpful if a

user has received the FLo error result.
