5 Finishing Operation

As of the writing of this document, the 6030/50 operates with the following folders which

implement the Xerox Generic Finishing Interface (GFI):

Tameran PrintFold 2510

Gera Mondial B2

The 6030 and 6050 Printers do not yet fully comply with the Xerox GFI specification. As a result,

some system features, such as Automatic Title Block Placement are not supported. The user

must manually locate the title block for proper fold orientation.

For a more complete folding solution, a configuration using the Accxes controller, a 6050 Printer,

and one of the supported folders listed in the previous section is suggested.

Enhanced Automatic Title Block Placement is available in AccXES controller equipped 6030 and

6050 configurations. However, some C-size and A2-size folds are still not supported due to a

lack of rotation support by the 6030/6050 embedded controller.

For a more complete folding solution, a configuration using the Accxes controller, a 6050 Printer,

and one of the supported folders listed in the previous section is suggested.
